Broadcasting Feature Overview and Setup

This simple tutorial will teach you how to set up broadcast campaigns on Zebrabuzz from the Messenger Tools section.

Broadcasting allows you to automate broadcast messages to your Messenger, SMS, and email subscribers. This feature is divided into four main sections – Messenger Broadcasting, SMS Broadcasting, Email Broadcasting, and SMS/Email Sequence Campaigner, for external contacts.

The Messenger Broadcasting section allows you to set up broadcasts messages directly to Messenger subscribers.

Its two subsections – Subscriber Broadcast, will enable you to create non-promotional messages with tags and 24-hour structured broadcasts to your subscribers, and the OTN Subscriber Broadcast is where you can send a request to a user if they would like to continue receiving broadcasts from your page after the 24-hour messaging window has ended.

Next, the SMS Broadcasting section allows you to send broadcasts to SMS and external subscribers. Its first subsection allows you to set up SMS API settings.

The SMS Campaign enables you to set up SMS broadcasting for the feature to function, while you can create different message templates and sequences with the SMS Template.

In the Email Broadcasting section, you will be able to send email messages to Messenger and external subscribers. Like SMS broadcasting, it is important to complete the email API settings first.

Next, set up email broadcast sequences with the Email Campaign subsection and create different email templates with the Email Templates option.

The last main broadcasting section, SMS/Email Sequence Campaigner For External Contacts, is for setting up sequence campaigns and drips for external subscribers.
